The 5th annual Reno River Festival takes place Friday, May 9 – Sunday, May 11, 2008 at the Truckee River Whitewater Park in the heart of Reno-Tahoe, America’s Adventure Place. 

FRIDAY, MAY 9
10 a.m. Athlete Registration and Outdoor Expo Opens
10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Grubb & Ellis Charity Raft Race presented by the City of Reno
10 a.m. – 3 p.m. Boatercross Qualifying Rounds
10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Open Freestyle Competition
3:30 – 5 p.m. Music in the Park featuring Lavish Green
4 p.m. Open Freestyle Awards Ceremony
7 p.m. Official Reno River Festival Kick Off Party and “Hotel Charley 3 – The Lost World” Screening at Imperial Bar & Lounge 

SATURDAY, MAY 10
9:30 – 10:15 a.m. Free Yoga in the Park with Tahoe Yoga
10 a.m. Athlete Registration and Outdoor Expo opens; Music in the Park Begins
10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Pro Freestyle Competition
10 a.m. – 3 p.m. Boatercross Qualifying Rounds
10:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. Music in the Park featuring Blues Assault, The Fantods and AudioBoxx
11 a.m. – 5 p.m. Free Whitewater Clinics presented by DSK and the Truckee River Foundation
2 p.m. Pro Freestyle Awards Ceremony
2 – 4 p.m. “Run Amuck” Fun Run
5 p.m. “Run Amuck” Awards Ceremony 

SUNDAY, MAY 11
