What are Neighborhood Advisory Boards?
The City of Reno has eight Neighborhood Advisory Boards (NABs), composed of a minimum of nine (9) resident members and no more than thirteen (13) who live in each Reno neighborhood. The members are a group of volunteers who are appointed by the Reno City Council for two-year terms. The meetings provide an arena for residents to voice their concerns related to such issues as new development projects, police protection, code enforcement, neighborhood planning, and other neighborhood concerns. The NABs advise the City Council on policy that affects neighborhoods throughout the community. You can download a copy of the 2010 NAB meeting schedule. Or, check out the online City calendar. Note: The NAB's do not meet in December. Important Forms
