Sierra Kids is a quality recreational enrichment program for children who need a safe, supervised environment before and after school. Sierra Kids operates according to the Washoe County School District schedule in the following elementary schools:
Snacks and milk is provided in the afternoons and homework assistance is available during the educational period. Sierra Kids' friendly, qualified staff aim to develop the self-esteem of all participants in a positive environment. Times and rates vary according to school site. For the safety of all children attending the Sierra Kids program, the registration and payment policy is strictly followed. It is our policy to accept registration with payment up to the Thursday preceding the week of attendence. We do not accept registration/payment for the upcoming week after the Thursday deadline. This deadline pertains to both weekly and partial week attendance. Failure to meet the Thursday registration/payment deadline means the child will not be listed on the attendance roster. Any child not listed on the roster will not be admitted to the site. Sierra Kids staff will direct these unregistered students to the school office.
